Astra the Moth-Fundraiser for Equality Kansas

Ad astra per aspera: “To the stars, through difficulties”. Growing up queer in Kansas, that state slogan held hope for me, but it feels like a slap in the face to anyone just trying to exist as a trans person within its borders right now. With its cruel new license law, bathroom bill and more, I’d say Kansas has made things pretty damn difficult. In response, this week 100% of proceeds from these little cosmic moths will be donated to Equality Kansas, who are helping the trans community navigate this harsh landscape. A wee fluffy friend to help you see the stars, who can take you there on gossamer wings, sit in your palm and take your worries into its velvet chest. There is hope, there is light, and we’re going to fight for it furiously, together. Hand sculpted polymer clay head, faux fur body, glass/natural stone eyes.
